I'm the flight attendant who commented on that nifty shoulder harness that was used to help stabilize you in the airplane seat. It would be helpful if more people with spinal cord injuries could use such a devise. I appreciate your transparency and your courage. God bless you, dear man.

I have known Brandon first as a patient of mine, then as a dear friend. I have had the privilege to have good long talks with him over the years. He has been an inspiration to me as well. I remember the first time I came in to take care of him, I was totally afraid, I had never had an assignment of such magnitide in my whole nursing career. I always was aware of the fact that I could not mess up. But Brandon taught me alot about living and about life, and for that I will forever be greatful. I think this is one of the most heroic efforts I have ever seen. Brandon doesn't have to extend himself to help others, he wants to extend himself to help others. For that I say well done.
